Original Folk with Spirit
We are indeed EverHopeful
Black Lives Matter
Inspired by this growing movement and compelled to add our voices in some way to make a positive difference, we offer this original music video. As Unitarian Universalists, we uphold the inherent worth and dignity of all. If this video moves you toward action for justice, peace and compassion, please consider making a gift to UUA's James Reeb Fund for Multicultural Ministries and Leadership. Rev. James Reeb, a Unitarian Universalist minister, was killed in Selma, Alabama, in 1965 after answering Dr. Martin Luther King's call to come and stand in solidarity against systemic racism.
We received so much support for this project from professional and amateur photographers and videographers. The professionals are listed below. Their artistry is spectacular and their commitment to a better world shines through. Please check them out. We recommend them.
And a BIG SHOUT OUT goes to Brian Hunter, the masterful engineer at the Mousetrap Recording Studio & Sawtelle Studio at Swallow Hill in Denver. Always professional, always a pleasure.
And here are a few tunes for you.
Winner of the 2007 UUA's Mountain Desert District song competition.
